Kim Young-woon, famous by his stage name Kangin, is a South Korean singer, actor, MC and radio personality well-known as a member of ‘Super Junior’, a boy band from South Korea. He made his official debut as part of ‘Super Junior 05’, a twelve member project group. ‘Super Junior 05’ dropped its suffix ‘05’ after the addition of its thirteenth member and came to known as just ‘Super Junior’. The ensuing years saw the group dividing into sub-groups to reach out to various music industries and audiences. This saw him being placed in the trot-singing ‘Super Junior-T’ and later in ‘Super Junior-H’. The most critically and commercially successful album of ‘Super Junior’ titled ‘Sorry Sorry’ (2009) brought its members including Kangin international fame and recognition. His big-screen debut happened with the ‘Super Junior’ flick ‘Attack on the Pin-Up Boys’. His other big-screen features include ‘Hello, Schoolgirl’ and ‘The Cat Funeral’. He has also appeared in TV series like ‘Billie Jean, Look At Me’ and ‘Romance Zero’ and hosted programs like ‘M! Countdown’ and ‘Nothing is Impossible’. He also worked as a radio DJ in ‘Reckless Radio’ and ‘Good Friend Radio’.
