Ian Gillan, a renowned English singer, gained fame for his commanding vocals and fronting the band Deep Purple. Beginning his musical journey in the mid-1960s with Episode Six, he found widespread recognition with Deep Purple in 1969. Despite temporary stints away from the band, Gillan pursued solo projects and had a brief stint with Black Sabbath. In 1993, he reunited with Deep Purple as their lead vocalist. Gillan has also engaged in philanthropic endeavors and business ventures, such as co-founding the supergroup WhoCares alongside Tony Iommi.
