Henk Chin A Sen

Description: (2nd President and Prime Minister of Suriname)
Henk Chin A Sen was a Surinamese politician and physician who studied medicine and worked as an internist at the Sint Vincentius Hospital in Paramaribo. He joined the Nationalist Republican Party, eventually becoming Prime Minister of Suriname after a political coup. Subsequently, he served as President of Suriname until being dismissed by Dési Bouterse. Following his dismissal, Chin A Sen went into exile in the United States and the Netherlands. He engaged in political opposition activities during this time and later returned to Suriname to continue his medical practice.
