Description:
(Austrian Psychiatrist and Educator ) Rudolf Dreikurs was an Austrian psychiatrist and educator who developed Alfred Adler's individual psychology into a practical method for understanding and addressing children's misbehavior. He identified four mistaken goals driving misbehavior: undue attention, power, revenge, or avoidance. Dreikurs believed that misbehavior stemmed from a lack of belonging and aimed to foster cooperative behavior in children without resorting to punishment or rewards. In 1952, he co-founded the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and remained an influential figure in the organization until his passing.
