Dave Lee Travis, also known as David Patrick Griffin, is a former English disc jockey and television presenter. He began his broadcasting career on Radio Caroline and later moved to BBC Radio 1, where he became a prominent presenter during the 1970s and 1980s. Travis was also a regular host of Top of the Pops. He went on to work for several British commercial radio stations. In 2012, Travis was arrested on suspicion of historical sexual offenses, which resulted in a trial and his subsequent conviction on one count of indecent assault.
