(Bassist, Musician) Rex Brown is an American musician known for his role as the longtime bassist of heavy metal band Pantera, having joined in 1982. He is the longest-serving member of the band following their reunion in 2022. Brown was also a member of the supergroup Down and the bassist for Kill Devil Hill. In addition to his work with these bands, he released a solo album called Smoke on This... in 2017, showcasing his talents as a vocalist and guitarist. Brown also authored a book detailing Pantera's history and career.
