Mark Allan Hoppus is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer as well as a TV personality. He became popular as the bassist and co-lead vocalist of the pop punk band ‘Blink-182’. Hoppus was born in Ridgecrest, California and developed an early interest in music. He received a bass guitar from his father on his fifteenth birthday. Along with Tom DeLonge and Scott Raynor, Hoppus founded the band ‘Blink-182’. The band soon became known for their high-energy live shows. Their debut album ‘Cheshire Cat’ was released in 1995. Though the album failed to impact any American charts, it entered the charts in Australia and New Zealand. They released several other albums over the years, such as ‘Dude Ranch’ and ‘Dogs Eating Dogs,’ which were both moderate hits. Hoppus has also collaborated with the band ‘+44’ for their only album ‘When Your Heart Stops Beating’. Other than music, he has written columns for the ‘Risen Magazine’ and was part of a music documentary named ‘One Nine Nine Four’.
