He was known for his remixes of tracks by renowned artists such as Happy Mondays, New Order, and Björk. Weatherall's production work on Primal Scream's album Screamadelica, which skillfully blended hard rock, house, and rave elements, played a key role in the album winning the Mercury Music Prize in 1992.
