Alan Wilder is a renowned English musician, composer, arranger, and record producer recognized for his significant contributions to the electronic band Depeche Mode during the years 1982 to 1995. After leaving Depeche Mode, Wilder shifted his focus to his musical project Recoil, which originally began as a side project in 1986. He further extended his impact by providing production and remixing services to bands such as Nitzer Ebb and Curve. In 2020, Wilder was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in recognition of his influential work with Depeche Mode.
