Illangelo, a Canadian record producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer, is best known for his extensive collaboration with the Weeknd. He played a key role in executive producing the Weeknd's mixtapes featured in the Trilogy album and has continued to contribute to the artist's subsequent releases. Illangelo's impressive list of credits includes producing tracks for a variety of artists such as Post Malone, Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, Drake, and Ricky Hil. Additionally, he was part of the duo Somewhere Else and released a concept album titled History of Man under Skrillex's OWSLA label and Brodinski's Bromance Records.
