These groups were celebrated for their interpretations of composers such as Brahms, Schubert, and Beethoven. Busch emigrated to Switzerland in 1927 and then to the United States due to his opposition to Nazism. He was highly regarded as a soloist and chamber musician, with recordings of various concertos and chamber works showcasing his talent. As a composer, Busch drew inspiration from Max Reger and created works such as the Concerto for Orchestra, among others.
