Gene Wood was a well-known American television personality who served as an announcer on numerous game shows spanning from the 1950s to the 1990s. He was particularly recognized for his work on popular game shows produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman, including Family Feud, Classic Concentration, Card Sharks, Password, and Beat the Clock. Wood also briefly hosted Beat the Clock and Anything You Can Do. Following his retirement from game shows in 1996, he continued his career as an announcer for the Game Show Network until retiring in 1998.
