Helen Skelton is an English TV presenter, motivational speaker, athlete, and actor, best known for presenting popular TV shows such as ‘Blue Peter’ and ‘Countryfile.’ She was raised on a dairy farm outside Carlisle, Cumbria, England, and later studied journalism at the ‘Cumbria Institute of the Arts.’ As a child, she was a performing art enthusiast and learned tap dancing. While in college, she worked as an “extra” in the popular soap opera ‘Coronation Street. She began her journalism career working at ‘CFM Radio’ and later became a breakfast presenter on ‘BBC Radio Cumbria.’ In 2008, she began her TV career, presenting the children’s show ‘Blue Peter.’ While working there, she also worked as a sports correspondent for events such as ‘Wimbledon.’ She later joined the channel ‘BT Sport’ and presented the ‘FA Women’s Super League’ live. She has also presented TV shows such as ‘London Marathon Highlights’ and ‘Countryfile.’ In 2016, she covered a few sporting events for the ‘BBC’ at the ‘Summer Olympic Games.’ More recently, she has presented a few episodes of the show ‘Walks with My Dog.’
