(Journalist) Lesley Stahl is an esteemed American television journalist known for her extensive career with CBS News. She joined the network as a producer in 1971 and has been reporting for CBS's 60 Minutes since 1991. Stahl has received numerous journalism awards, including a Lifetime Achievement News and Documentary Emmy Award in 2003. Prior to her role on 60 Minutes, she served as CBS News White House correspondent during the presidencies of Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and part of George H. W. Bush's term. Stahl also moderated Face the Nation and co-hosted America Tonight.
