Anna Roosevelt Halsted was a distinguished American writer and the oldest daughter of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt. She began her career as a newspaper editor, and worked in public relations before she went on to become an iconic figure in the field of publishing, social work, & human rights. She wrote for the best magazines and newspaper agencies in America, wherein she received complete support from her parents. Her love for writing and creativity garnered two best-selling books, ‘Scamper’ and ‘Scampers Christmas’. Through her career as a writer, and social activist, she held various high-level positions in multiple locations around the world. She accompanied her father as the First Lady at various conferences and meetings in the absence of her mother. During her lifetime she got married thrice, and moved to Washington DC at a later point in her life, wherein she was appointed to a presidential commissions post by President John F. Kennedy.
