Gertraud "Traudl" Junge served as Adolf Hitler's final private secretary from December 1942 to April 1945. She typed Hitler's will and remained in the Berlin Führerbunker until his death. After being arrested and imprisoned, she was interrogated by Soviet and U.S. military forces. In post-war West Germany, she worked as a secretary. Junge later published her memoirs, acknowledging her ignorance of Nazi atrocities but expressing regret for not investigating reports about them. Her story was portrayed in various dramatizations, including the 2004 film Downfall.
