John Lindley Byrne is an American comic-book writer and artist who is considered a master of story-telling and an excellent artist of comic-book characters. His writing and drawing career in the world of comic books spans almost four decades and is still going strong. He has created a large number of comic book characters himself and has helped old and new masters to create more of them. He has worked with several comic-book publishers in America which included two of the greatest publishers. He has worked for these companies at different points during his career and every time he has come out with something new which has caught the imagination of his readers. He has resurrected some of the most favorite comic superheroes to their old status when the fans had lost interest in them. He was attracted to the world of comic characters through the shows presented on TV as a six year old. He was inspired by the character of the superheroes and was greatly influenced by story-telling styles adopted by Neil Adams and Jack Kirby who are acknowledged as the greatest in the world of comics.
