Mustafa Adrisi

Mustafa Adrisi Abataki was a Ugandan military officer who served as the third vice president of Uganda from 1977 to 1979. He was a close associate of President Idi Amin until their falling out. In 1978, Adrisi was injured in a suspicious auto accident, which led to a mutiny by troops loyal to him. He fled to Sudan during the Uganda–Tanzania War and later returned from exile in 1987. Adrisi briefly participated in rebel activities with the Uganda National Rescue Front before his death in 2013.
