Hassan Bubacar Jallow is a prominent Gambian judge with a distinguished career in the legal field. He has served as Chief Justice of the Gambia since 2017. Prior to this role, he held key positions as the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), both at the rank of United Nations Under Secretary-General. Additionally, he has experience as Minister of Justice and Attorney General under President Dawda Jawara.
