Sadeq Khalkhali

Mohammed Sadeq Givi Khalkhali was an Iranian Shia cleric who held the position of Chief Justice of the revolutionary courts. He was infamous for his support of summary executions and became known as the "hanging judge" in Iran. Khalkhali, a small, rotund man with a pointed beard, kindly smile, and high-pitched giggle, presided over many significant cases, playing a crucial role in Iran's judicial system during his time in office.
