Evelyne Pisier

Évelyne Pisier was a prominent French writer and political scientist recognized for her activism and academic accomplishments. She successfully defended her thesis in public law in 1970 and was among the first women to pass the Agrégation exam. Pisier was appointed to the Institut d'études politiques in 1972 and later went on to serve as the director of the French Government's Book and Reading Service. She eventually became a professor emerita at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. Pisier made significant contributions to political science and public service theory, establishing herself as a respected figure in academia.
