Fatana Najib

Fatana Najib is an Afghan linguist known for her work as a principal at the Peace School in Kabul. She served as the First Lady of Afghanistan from 1987 to 1992, during which she provided support to families of servicemembers of the Afghan Armed Forces. Najib and her three daughters fled Afghanistan in 1992 and have since lived in exile in Delhi, India. She has continued to reside in India while her daughters have pursued education and careers abroad.
