Henri, Count of Paris

Description: (Aristocrat)
Henri of Orléans, Count of Paris, served in the French Foreign Legion and participated in World War II and the Algerian War. Upon his return to France in 1950, he became involved in French monarchist politics with the aim of reinstating the French monarchy in a parliamentary system. Henri engaged in discussions about this goal with Charles de Gaulle and received support from fellow French monarchists. Despite his efforts, all attempts to restore the monarchy were unsuccessful. After his passing in 1999, Henri's son took over as the Head of the House of Orléans.
