Rie Takahashi is a Japanese voice actress and singer, best recognised for her roles in ‘Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World,’ Fate/Grand Order,’ ‘KonoSuba,’ and ‘Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san.’ She was passionate about anime as a child and became interested in pursuing her passion after knowing that voice roles of several male characters were actually contributed by female voice actors. She attended ‘81 Actor's Studio,’ training school of ‘81 Produce’ and graduated from there before formally joining ‘81 Produce’. Starting off with supporting roles in anime series, Rie landed up with her first main role in the anime comedy TV series ‘Seiyu's Life!.’ She joined hands with co-stars of the series, Marika Kouno and Yuki Nagaku to form the Japanese idol group ‘Earphones’ that eventually spawned singles, studio albums, video albums, and music videos. She has lent her voice in anime television productions, in original net animation ‘Monster Strike’, in original video animations like ‘Teasing Master Takagi-san – OVA’; in Anime films like ‘Pretty Cure All Stars: Movie,’ and in video games like ‘Azur Lane.’ She has also lent her voice for theme songs of anime series ‘Teasing Master Takagi-san’ and ‘Konosuba.’
