Nancy Travis is an American actress. She started her career in theater before landing a screen role in ABC’s miniseries ‘Harem’. She then went on to appear in CBS’ sitcom ‘Almost Perfect’ and ABC’s series ‘Rose Red’. Her breakthrough role came in 1987 when she was cast as Sylvia Bennington in the comedy flick ‘Three Men and a Baby’. Born to a sales executive and a social worker, Travis was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and Framingham, Massachusetts, in a Catholic family.
