Carey Lowell is an American actor and former model. She began her career as a model for eminent fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Her acting career began with the movie ‘Dangerously Close’ (1986). She then appeared in ‘Club Paradise’ the same year. She was also part of the ‘James Bond’ movie ‘Licence to Kill’ (1989). She later reprised the role by lending her voice to the video game ‘007 Legends.’ However, she is best known for her work on TV, especially for the role ‘Jamie Ross’ in the American TV drama ‘Law & Order.’ The series featured her in both a main role and a guest role. In the mid-2000s, she got disillusioned and joined ‘New York University’ to study documentary filmmaking. Her 3-year-long divorce case with actor Richard Gere ended in 2016. Since then, Lowell has steered clear from controversy.
