Eiko Ishioka was a renowned Japanese art director, costume designer, and graphic designer known for her impactful contributions to stage, screen, advertising, and print media. She was celebrated for her innovative advertising campaigns for Parco and her collaboration with Descente on designing uniforms for national teams at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Ishioka also directed costume design for the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Her exceptional work in costume design earned her an Academy Award for Best Costume Design for Bram Stoker's Dracula and a posthumous nomination for Mirror Mirror.
