Anurag Kashyap is an Indian film director and actor known for his work in Hindi cinema. He has received four Filmfare Awards and was honored with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Government of France. Kashyap initially gained recognition as a co-writer and director, with notable films such as Black Friday and Dev.D. He rose to prominence with Gangs of Wasseypur and has continued to direct acclaimed films like The Lunchbox and Raman Raghav 2.0. Kashyap also co-directed the Netflix series Sacred Games and co-founded the film production company Good Bad Films.
