His cinematography work includes the film "The Gypsy Moths" and a National Geographic Explorer segment featuring jumps from El Capitan. To enhance safety in the sport, he established BASE Magazine. Boenish's life and tragic demise are depicted in the documentary "Sunshine Superman."
