Jonathan Blow

Jonathan Blow is a renowned American video game designer and programmer. He is best known for developing the independent games Braid and The Witness. Blow began his journey in game programming during middle school and pursued studies in computer science and English at UC Berkeley before leaving to establish his own game company. His breakout success came with the release of Braid in 2008, after which he went on to establish Thekla Inc. to work on The Witness. Notably, Blow's dissatisfaction with C++ led him to create his own programming language, Jai.
