Stefan Kudelski

Stefan Kudelski, a Polish audio engineer, is well-known for inventing the Nagra series of professional audio recorders. His career began when he studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, where he developed his first tape recorder as a student project. Kudelski received numerous awards throughout his career for his significant contributions to the audio engineering field. He retired in 1991, after which his son, André, assumed the role of Chairman and CEO of the Kudelski Group. Kudelski passed away in 2013 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
