Angela Raiola, also known as Big Ang, was an American reality television personality best known for her appearances on the VH1 series Mob Wives. Her roles on her own reality show, Big Ang, and its spinoff, Miami Monkey, also garnered her considerable fame. Often referred to as a “mob moll,” Raiola was known for dating individuals involved in organized crime and living an opulent lifestyle. She was once convicted for her role in a narcotics deal and spent time in jail. Due to her connections with gangsters and the intrigue surrounding her persona, Raiola was one of the most talked-about reality TV stars during her heyday. She had an enigmatic personality and was always the center of attention at parties, events, and shows. Although she enjoyed wealth and a lavish lifestyle, Raiola faced numerous challenges in her personal life. Toward the end of her life, she was diagnosed with cancer and struggled with the disease for several months. Despite undergoing intensive treatments, she ultimately succumbed to the illness in 2016.
