Marc Mezvinsky is an American investor, best known as the former vice chairman of venture capital firm ‘Social Capital.’ Marc Mezvinsky was born into a family of politicians in Philadelphia. Both his parents, Edward Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies, are former members of the ‘U.S. House of Representatives.’ His parents are known for their generosity and kindness, as they adopted five of their 11 children. Hence Marc, who was one of their biological children, grew up with 10 siblings. Marc graduated with a degree in religious studies and philosophy from ‘Stanford University.’ He later attended ‘Pembroke College’ to study politics, philosophy, and economics. After graduating from ‘Pembroke College,’ Marc became interested in investment banking and hence started working at ‘Goldman Sachs.’ He also served as one of the senior partners at an investment company named ‘3G Capital’ and went on to start his own hedge fund, ‘Eaglevale Partners.’ He is currently serving on the board of charity organizations, such as ‘Pembroke College Foundation’ and ‘Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases.’ In 2010, Marc married Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former American President Bill Clinton.
