Sean Parker is a prominent American entrepreneur and philanthropist. He started out at a very young age and cofounded one of the fastest growing business, Napster, along with his friend Shawn Fanning. He joined Facebook when it was just a five-month-old company and became its first president. Apart from the two, he has co-founded Plaxo, Causes, Airtime and Brigade. He has also been instrumental in the US launch and growth of Spotify, the Swedish music streaming service. As a philanthropist, he has contributed extensively to cancer research and established the Parker Foundation which focuses on three areas: Life Sciences, Global Public Health, and Civic Engagement.
