He played a key role in the company's expansion and achievements, guiding it through obstacles and advancements. During World War II, Frits Philips displayed exceptional bravery and kindness by rescuing numerous Jews from the Nazi Occupation of the Netherlands. In 1996, his heroic deeds were acknowledged internationally when he was honored as a Righteous Among the Nations.
