Daniel J. Bernstein, also known as djb, is a distinguished American mathematician, cryptologist, and computer scientist. He currently serves as a visiting professor at CASA at Ruhr University Bochum and as a research professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Previously, he was a visiting professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology.
