Jamie Dimon is an American business executive who currently serves as the chairman and CEO of 'JPMorgan Chase & Co.,' the largest of the "Big Four” American banks. He began his career working for 'American Express,' at a time when Sandy Weill served as the president of the bank. With Weill, Dimon established the financial services conglomerate 'Citigroup,' which is also one of the "Big Four." Dimon has served as the CEO of 'Bank One Corporation,' the fifth-largest bank in the U.S., which 'JPMorgan Chase' acquired eventually. As the president and CEO of the merged company, he presided over the fifth-largest transaction ever made under the 'Troubled Asset Relief Program' (TARP). However, his image was marred during the ''London Whale'' losses. Dimon has also been on the board of directors of the 'Federal Reserve Bank of New York,' 'Harvard Business School,' and 'Catalyst.’ He has also been the chairman of the ‘Business Roundtable' and a member of 'The Business Council.' He is a member of the board of trustees of the 'New York University School of Medicine.' Dimon is also one of the highest-paid CEOs in the U.S.
