Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa is a prominent figure in Bahrain as a respected artist and the chairman of Bahrain's National Council for Arts. With a career spanning over 50 years, he initially focused on landscape painting before transitioning to creating wall-based structural installations using aluminum. His work reflects his deep connection to his homeland, exploring traditional architecture and the immediate landscape. As the first president and current honorary president of the Bahrain Arts Society, he is widely recognized as one of the Kingdom's most distinguished artists.
