(Musician, Painter) Georgy (Gustav) Konstantinovich Guryanov was a prominent Soviet and Russian musician and artist. He was known for his roles as a drummer, arranger, and backing vocalist in Kino and his involvement in Sergey Kuryokhin's Pop Mechanics from 1984 to 1990. Transitioning to a successful career as an artist from 1990 to 2013, he also served as an honorary professor at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg from 1993 onwards. Guryanov was celebrated in Saint Petersburg and recognized as a renowned Russian dandy during the 1990s and 2000s.
