Jean the Younger was recognized for his artistic abilities, particularly in anatomical illustration. His renowned work, Livre de Pourtraicture, was initially published in Paris in 1595 after his death. This book became a crucial resource on artistic anatomy and saw multiple reprints until the late 17th century.
