Thom Mayne

Thom Mayne is a well-known American architect based in Los Angeles. He co-founded the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in 1972 and currently serves as a trustee and coordinator of the Design of Cities program. Mayne has taught at institutions such as SCI-Arc, Cal Poly Pomona, and UCLA. He is the principal of Morphosis Architects, a distinguished firm with offices in Culver City, California, and New York City. In 2005, he received the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize.
