Omar Suleiman is a prominent American Islamic scholar and civil rights activist recognized for his leadership in various organizations. He is the founding president of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, where he has made substantial contributions to the field of Islamic studies. Suleiman also holds the position of adjunct professor of Islamic studies at Southern Methodist University and serves on the Ethics Center Advisory Board. Additionally, he acts as the Resident Scholar at the Valley Ranch Islamic Center and is Co-Chair Emeritus of Faith Forward Dallas at Thanks-Giving Square.
