David Bromstad is an American interior décor specialist, furniture designer, artist, muralist, custom art creator, and TV celebrity, best known as the host of popular TV shows such as ‘HGTV’s ‘Color Splash with David Bromstad,’ ‘Color Splash Miami,’ and ‘My Lottery Dream House.’ He initially worked as an illustrator for ‘Disney’ and then launched his own firm that designed children’s fantasy bedrooms. He later pursued a TV career in Miami. Currently, he mentors finalists on ‘HGTV’s show ‘Design Star.’ He was the winner of the first season of the show. He appeared as a celebrity judge featured in three seasons of ‘Brother vs Brother.’ David Bromstad is a spokesperson for ‘Mythic Paints,’ ‘Microsoft,’ ‘Dupont,’ ‘Sherwin Williams,’ and ‘Tibotec Therapeutics.’ He is the brand ambassador for ‘Miele,’ the home appliance brand. He also authors a weekly blog for ‘HGTV.’ As a proud gay personality, he has appeared on several prestigious TV shows, such as the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’ and the ‘Ellen Degeneres Show.’
