American retired basketball player Tracy McGrady is best known for his illustrious stint with the NBA. A 7-time NBA All-Star and a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, he has been one of NBA’s best shooting guards. After excelling in high school basketball, McGrady skipped college and decided to try his luck in the NBA Draft. In 1997, he was picked up by the NBA team Toronto Raptors. He ended up forming a winning duo with his cousin Vince Carter. His career saw him play for Orlando Magic and the Houston Rockets, too. His final years with the NBA were riddled with injuries. After short-lived stints with the Chinese Basketball Association team Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles and then the San Antonio Spurs, he retired from basketball in 2013. McGrady has also been an ESPN analyst and a professional baseball player.
