Georgia Holt is an American singer-songwriter, model, and actress. She is the mother of actress and singer Cher. As an actress, she has contributed to a number of television projects including ‘The Mike Douglas Show,’ ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ ‘Sunday Morning,’ ‘I Love Lucy’ and ‘Watch the Birdie.’ Born to a young teenage mother, Holt lived back and forth between her separated parents. She attended about seventeen junior high schools. At the age of six, she performed on an Oklahoma City radio station and later sang with many renowned artists. She won several beauty competitions as a model. Holt has been married six times. She has two children, including Cher, through whom she has two grandchildren. The veteran actress was last seen on the screen in 2014 as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race’s episode "Queens of Talk". Currently, she is retired and enjoying her life as a grandmother. She celebrated her 90th birthday in 2016.
