Todd Palin is an American oil field production operator, commercial fisherman, and snowmachine racer champion, who was also the “First Gentleman of Alaska” once. He is the husband of the ninth governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin (2006–2009). Palin was training on the job at 'Prudhoe Bay' oil field (BP), while he was a 'United Steelworkers' union member. He had to resign to remain neutral amidst the natural gas pipeline negotiations that involved his wife. He, however, returned later. Palin gained prominence when he became the "First Dude" and started encouraging the youth in Alaska for training jobs in the oil and gas industry. Palin is also a seasoned host and has judged beauty pageants. He is a four-time champion at the world's longest snowmobile race, 'Tesoro Iron Dog.' Plain has five children from his high-school sweetheart, Sarah. However, most recently, the two have separated and have filed for divorce.
