Following his graduation, he made a failed attempt at a writing career and then a geology career. In the late 1980s, he launched a successful brewery/pub and became a multi-millionaire. In 2003, he took over as the mayor of Denver, representing the ‘Democratic Party,’ and became popular for his efforts toward eradicating homelessness, improving the financial situation of the city, and looking after the overall welfare of the public. In 2011, he took over as the governor of Colorado and became known for his work toward job creation and the introduction of general public-welfare schemes. He resigned in 2018, following which he attempted to get the ‘Democratic Party’ candidacy for the presidential elections of 2020 but failed.
