Gayle King is a well-known American television personality and a broadcast journalist known for co-hosting CBS This Morning since 2012. She is also an editor-at-large at the O, The Oprah Magazine, a monthly American magazine started by Oprah Winfrey. In the beginning of her career, King worked at various television station before joining CBS affiliate WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut where she spent the next 18 years as a television news anchor. Over the years, she has also made film and television appearances and worked for numerous television specials and documentaries. For her work, she has won numerous awards including the prestigious Emmy Awards. Times Magazine, in 2019, included her in their annual list of 100 most influential people. Apart from professional achievements, she is also well known for her long-time friendship with famous talk show host and actress, Oprah Winfrey.
