Toby Jones is an English actor widely considered as one of the most popular performers in the country. He appeared mainly in supporting roles during the early years of his career. Following his breakthrough performance as Truman Capote in the 2006 biopic ‘Infamous,’ he went on to act in a number of other big screen projects. Also a voice artist, Jones has provided the voices of Aristides in ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ and Dobby in the ‘Harry Potter’ film series. On television, he is known for his role in the comedy series ‘Detectorists’ for which he earned a BAFTA award. The son of actors Freddie and Jennifer Jones, Toby Jones grew up in London with his two brothers, Casper, also an actor, and Rupert, a director. Following his graduation from Abingdon School and Christ Church Cathedral School, he took drama classes at University of Manchester. He later continued his education from L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq before beginning his career. His other noteworthy works include, 'The Girl,' 'W,' 'Captain America: The First Avenger,' and various others.
