Jack Whitehall is a British actor and comedian who started his career on TV and then gained popularity as a stand-up comedian. Whitehall performed his first solo stand-up comedy show at the ‘Edinburgh Festival Fringe’ and was nominated for the ‘Best Newcomer.’ He was a regular performer in the ‘Channel 4’ series ‘Stand Up for the Week’ and also appeared at the Montreal ‘Just for Laughs’ comedy festival. Whitehall established a ‘Guinness World Record’ by hosting the highest stand-up comedy gig on board a ‘British Airways’ flight, in support of the charity show ‘Comic Relief.’ He was a guest chairman of the British TV panel for ‘Have I Got News for You’ and has been a regular panelist on the game show ‘A League of Their Own.’ He made his debut on the big screen with his appearance in the comedy film ‘The Bad Education Movie,’ which was based on his sitcom with the same name. He dated British actor Gemma Chan for six years before breaking up due to their busy schedules that did not match. He is a three-time winner of the ‘King of Comedy’ award at the ‘British Comedy Awards’ and has a bright future in British comedy.
